All the game results are listed below. We'll have some folow-up information here over the next few days.
The tournament committe would sincerely thank all participants. We have had a lot of positive feedback from players, coaches, and parents. Please feel free to pass on any suggestions or improvements you feel could be made. A key feature in setting-up the tournament is that all teams get at least four games. Since it is an 'earlybird' tournament, we feel coaches want to get as many games as possible under their belt, leading into the season. Generally, half the teams move on to a fifth game. Because of scheduling constraints, ice-time constraints and timing issues, we have used the 'cross-over' game as a means to providing the fourth game. We feel that it is the best alternative given our constraints. (In order to win the tournament, you have to beat everyone.)
Next year, we will be increasing the team entry fee BUT eliminating the tournament admission charge. Parents will appreciate this change. This has been something we've discussed for a couple of years. Parents have asked for this change.

Drew Barton of the Waterloo Whalers major Novices is certainly ready... He e-mailed me to tell me he is very excited... especially since it is his birthday Friday. Hope he has a good game.

Tyler Robinson
I'm #16 on the Waterloo Whalers and we are ready to kick "butt". Looking forward to participating and having fun in 4th Annual Kawartha Tournament as well as having the opportunity of meeting a bunch of other hockey nuts.
