Congratulations to Mississauga Reps (Maj Novice), Oakville Rangers (Min Atom)
and Halton Hurricanes (Maj Atom), division champions.

*** Note: A change has been made to the original Major Novice Schedule ****
The schedule mailed to teams has changed at Major Novice only. (formerly 7 teams - now 6 teams)
We have lost a Major Novice team... We are now down to 6 Major Novice teams.
Each of the 6 Major Novice teams will be contacted to explain the circumstances.

Major Novice Info 

   
	Major Novice Groups:

Major Novice:  6 Teams 
Because a team has dropped-out, the simplest solution to our predicament is to carry-on
with the type of "Modified Round-Robin".
First 4 games for each team: "Modified Round-Robin".  Each team will play 
4 other teams in the division. (Each team will play 4 of the 5 other teams in the Division.)

Points in first 4 games: Win 2 points, Loss 0 points, Tie 1 point, 
  plus 1 point to winner of each period (1/2 point if teams tie the period)
   (Therefore, 5 points are awarded for each game played)

The 6 teams are then ranked 1,2,3,4,5,6  based on 'points' earned in the 4 games.
The top 3 teams advance to Sunday.  Teams 4,5,6 are eliminated.

Sunday: Based on 'points' earned in first 4 games.  The top 3 teams advance.
  The team with the most 'points' gets a bye to the final.
  Semi:  2 vs 3
  Final: 1 vs winner of 2 vs 3

Minor Atom Info 


	Minor Atom Groups:

Minor Atom:  6 Teams 

Points in first 3 games: Win 2 points, Loss 0 points, Tie 1 point, 
  plus 1 point to winner of each period (1/2 point if teams tie the period)
   (Therefore, 5 points are awarded for each game played)


First 3 games for each team: "Cross-Over Round-Robin" Each team in group A 
plays each team in Group B

All teams play a 4th game which is a QuarterFinal elimination game:
               1st A - 3rd B, 1st B - 3rd A, 2nd A - 2nd B

Sunday Semis: 3 winning teams from the QuarterFinals advance to Sunday.  
  Based on 'points' earned in first 3 games only, the 3 advancing teams
  are ranked 1,2,3.  Semi:  2 vs 3.  1 gets a bye.  Final:  1 vs winner 2-3
