Sorry for delay.... Tournament is complete. A big success. Thanks to all participants. Congratulations to Champions! Hope to see you next year.
A last-minute reversal of a decision has made the two Detroit-area teams ineligible to play in a contact tournament in the OHF jurisdiction.
Therefore, Detroit Compuware Major Atoms and Detroit Belle Tire Major Atoms are no longer entered in the tournament.
Due to the last-minute timing, the schedule could not be changed.
Therefore, their scheduled opponents will bet a default win and a 1-0 win (This will give them 4 points for each game).
This is a major disappointment to the tournament organizers, and the rest of the Major Atom teams whose schedule will be adversely effected.
Major Novice:10 Teams
Minor Atom: 12 Teams
Major Atom: 10 Teams (12 Teams minus Detroit)
Four Games Guaranteed (Same as in past years).
There will be no admission fee at the door for spectators

The Petes beat the Wildcats in the OMHA final game 4-3.
The Petes went on to beat Vaughan Kings 5-3 in the OHF final game.

MINOR ATOM Twelve Teams - 3 Groups of 4 - 4 Games Guaranteed - Round Robin - All games 3 - 10 minute stop time periods. - 2 points for Win, 1 point for tie, 1 point for each period won (or half point if period tied) - In the event of a default, 4 points will be awarded to 'winning' team. - After 3-game round-robin, all 4 teams in each group advance to an elimination game and play a team from a different group. 1st in group vs 4th in another group 2nd in group vs 3rd in another group (Pairings indicated on schedule below) - Quarter Finals: The six teams that advance from the elimination games are ranked by the points system used in the 3 round-robin games (Points from 4th game don't count). The top two advancing teams get a bye. 3rd vs 6th, 4th vs 5th - Semis: 1 vs winner of 4-5, 2 vs winner of 3-6 - Overtime System: A modified version of 3-on-3 and play until there is a winner.
